The business was started up in a small office in the Dromone Oldcastle Co Meath. Initially, started by Gerry McDonnell in 2009 as a small domestic computer repair business. It gathered momentum after the first hard year in business, Gerry started to add a commercial offering to businesses requiring IT services at that stage it was still just himself.
But within a short time expansion required more hands, and the first employee was taken on 3 years later. Just a few years later, having taken on more staff, McDonnell entered the education market. Business rapidly expanded within the education sector and this drove the business along even further.
In 2015, Gerry McDonnell launched Interactive Displays Ireland and exploded into the Digital Signage and interactive markets. From 2017 working now nationwide the company decided to expand even further into this segment of the market and took on extra staff, extended the office and took on new vans to accommodate the demand for our services.
This accreditation recognises interactive displays Ireland’s conduct in the areas of trust, commitment, performance & customer centricity. Interactive displays Ireland is hereby included in the AIBF Register of Irish Business Excellence.
Our headquarters are Based in Oldcastle , Co Meath. Since 2009, we have provided digital signage solutions nationwide.
